Horatio Tuttle Chilton Times June 6, 1874

Horatio Tuttle, who was also one of our pioneers, was of the same age of Mr. Jewett, (66) and as tenacious, particular and took as much pride in his political opinions as the distinguished Horation of New York. He was a native of Ohio, if we remember right, and he told us once that he and Charley Larrabee spent a winter together in Madison. When asked to explain he said the Judge was Chief Justice of the State and he was a foreman in the Assembly Chamber. In other respects he was a good man as his ??? and good nature were his guardians.
