Shadyside - John M. Sweeney, 92, of Shadyside, died Monday, April 15, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Regina (Sutton) Sweeney; the father of Michael, Patricia Campbell, Timothy, Daniel, Mary Beth Jacobs, Thomas, Janet Karas and John Sweeney; the grandfather of eight; the brother of Sister Eileen Sweeney, CJS and the late Mae Dawson, Helen Payne Charles Sweeney and Paul Sweeney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. A committal service with Military Honors will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
