They had four children but the third died as an infant. Virginia may have died in childbirth having the fourth child as she disappeared at the same time 1878 and in the 1880 Census James was a then a Widower.
James never married again. He and his children lived with his father Caleb until Caleb died. They were in the Wrought Iron Railing business together.
The fourth child was William James Parker b.1878 d 1917 he married Evelyn Amelia Syning
When James died he too was interred in Trinity Cemetery in NYC.

The plot of eight graves is full (10), however there are only corner cement markers with a "P" on the plot itself, there are no individual gravestones.
