WALKER, EMILY THOMAS – age 94, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Shannondale Health Care Center. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Knoxville, Fellowship and Disciple Class, United Methodist Women, and in her spare time she was an avid Bridge player, and loved to travel. "Jack" and wife Jan Walker, and Emily Ann and husband Rick Norris; grandchildren, Chris Walker, John Walker, and Craig Norris; sister-in-law, Peggy Thomas, of Chattanooga; and nieces, Lynn Reynolds and Mary Jane Ruch. The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church of Knoxville, on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will meet Friday, April 26, 2013 at 12:45pm at Woodlawn Cemetery for a 1:00 PM interment.
