Mrs. Laura Poe, 87, of Mt. Carmel, TN died at 1:15 a.m. Friday, December 2, 1977 at Wilcox Hall after a long illness.
She was a native of Hawkins County and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was the widow of W.L. Poe.
Surviving is one son, D.T. Poe, Kingsport; one daughter, Mrs. Janelle Riley, Johnson City; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Wagner, Baltimore, MD., Mrs. Georgia Wagner and Mrs. Dona Cookenour, both of Kingsport; three granchildren and three great-grandchildren.
