Mrs. Pearl A. Pederson, 86, of Rt. 1 cato, died Monday evening at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. The Rev. Carl Peters will officiate with burial in Gjerpen Cemetery.

Mrs. Pederson, nee Pearl Fehring, was born Dec. 1, 1889, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Emil and Althea Jackson Fehring.

She was graduated from West Side High School in 1907 and was a teacher in rural Antigo schools, Madison School and River Bend School at Clarks Mills.

She was married to A. Cornelius Pederson Sept. 8, 1913, in Indiana.

She was former clerk of Madsen School, past president of Gjerpen Ladies Aid and
former leader of Jolly Workers 4-H Club for 16 years.

Survivors include two sons, Arndt, of Rt. 1, Cato and Russell, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Norbert (Violet) Kustka, of Rt. 1, Cato; four sisters, Mrs. Olive Watts, of Oak Lawn, Ill., Mrs. Ruth Ashton, of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Edna Laake, of Milwaukee and Mrs. Viola Caine, of Chicago, Ill., nine grandchidlren and three great grandchildren.

Her husband, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
