Harold A. Tunnell, 86, of Amarillo died Sunday, April 21, 2013.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel with the Rev. Mr. Gene Shelburne of Anna Street Church of Christ officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Antioch Cemetery near Brownwood. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.

Harold was born Feb. 9, 1927, in Pioneer to William and Velma Tunnell. He was raised in and around Borger and graduated from Borger High School. Harold received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University. He was an electrical engineer for Southwestern Public Service for 35 years. He designed and built his residence at 7005 Dreyfuss. Harold was a man that defined expertise in his profession. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his special friends and caregivers, Debbie Plunk and Linda Watkins, both of Amarillo.

The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boy's Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174.
