CLEDA B. (CROWDER) SMITH , 83, of Pittsfield, died Sunday afternoon, July 25, 1982, at Barry Community Care Center. Mrs Smith was born in Nebo Nov. 27, 1898, daughter of Frank and Alma Gant Crowder. She married Wilmer Smith in Pleasant Hill Dec. 24, 1918, and he survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs Virgil (Wilma) Hoos, Pittsfield; three sons, Leon, Pittsfield; Ronald, New Canton and Kenneth, Hillsboro; nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs Smith was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pittsfield where services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday. Burial will be in Crescent Heights cemetery at Pleasant Hill. Niebur Funeral Home handled arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
