He was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Mary Marie Lovell and his wife, Janice Putman Lovell.
He is survived by two sons, Chad Putman, Rogersville, and Christ Putman, Anderson; brother, Billy Lovell, Elkmont; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
