CROSSVILLE — Sept. 17, 1948—April 16, 2013

Mac Bowen, 64, of Crossville, passed away April 16, 2013, at Cumberland Medical Center. The funeral service was held April 20 at Oak Hill Baptist Church, with Will Foster and Jim Mersereau officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Malcolm was born Sept. 17, 1948, in Brazil, IN, to Malcolm Keith and Virginia June Price Bowen. Mac was a lover of old cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed driving his old cars and riding his motorcycle and going camping. However, Mac cherished his grandchildren and loved being a Grandpa.

He is survived by his wife, Hannah Gesser Bowen; sons, Monte Bowen (Missy) and Shane Bowen (Rhonda); daughter, Kristy Foster (Will); grandchildren, Dylan, Zack, Lexiss, Ethan, Kendall and Hayden; and sister, Wanita Garton. He was preceded in death by his parents, and Uncle Mel Bowen.

Pallbearers were Monte Bowen, Shane Bowen, Dylan Bowen, Zack Bowen, Will Foster and Glen Slavik.

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
