Orville Alexander Davis of Marks, 91, died Saturday, October 29, 2005, at his home.
Services were Thursday,November 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Marks Presbyterian Church with burial in Marks Cemetery. Dr. Laurie Jones officiated. Kimbro Funeral Home of Marks had charge.
Born February 2, 1924, at Lyon, he served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Marks Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Polly Barringer Davis, and a son, Orville Alexander, Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Davis Lusk of Bartlett, TN; a sister, Martha Davis Lynch, and husband, Buddy of Marks; four grandchildren, Kathy Lusk, Kimberly Harriott, Pauline Lundgren, and Brett Davis; a great grandchild, Morgan Harriott; and a cousin, Corneille Miles of Lyon.
Memorials may be made to the Marks Presbyterian Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
