Glenn's car, a truck driven by J.B. Houston of Chandler and another car, driven by Arthur St.John of Tyler collided and the lumber truck was turned over directly across the highway. Mr. Glenn was rushed to Tyler to a hospital where he died a few hours later.

None of the others in the wreck were injured, although a small boy riding in the truck with Houston was thrown clear of the wreckage.

Glenn operated the Red Moon filling station on West Erwin street. He formerly engaged in farming. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and had lived in Tyler about 11 years.
