Katherine Irene Hawkins, 98, of Mexico passed away Saturday April 20, 2013 at the Golden Living Center-Pin Oaks in Mexico.
Graveside services will be held 2p.m. Wednesday at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris with Rev. Jerry Ostrom officiating. Visitation will be held from 12-1p.m. Wednesday at Arnold Funeral Home.
Katherine was born on November 25, 1914 in Woodland Mo. to Cicro and Elizabeth Jane(Foster) McGee.
Katherine married Charles Hawkins on September 14, 1941. He preceded her in death on March 20, 1970.
Katherine was a member or Centennial Baptist Church in Mexico, A.M.C. and V.F.W. Auxiliary. Katherine was a baby sitter she really loved children.
Katherine is survived by a special friend, Jan Thompson, and numerous friends and acquaintances.
Along with her husband, Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, J.T.and Bob McGee.
