William G. McCormick age 62 of Bushnell, IL passed away at 8:25 P.M. Saturday April 20, 2013 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, IL. He was born on February 15, 1951 in Monmouth, IL to Kenneth V. and Mary K. Shannon McCormick. He is survived by 2 Sons and 4 Daughters – James (Gerry) McCormick of Lewistown, IL, Brandi (Mitch) Leiter of Peoria, IL, Angela (Matt) Goolsby of Tennessee, Shannon (Travis) Sharon of Bushnell, IL, Anthony (Tracy) Elmer of Columbus, IN and Caitlin Brooks of Canton, IL. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 1 Brother and 2 Sisters – Patricia (Jerome) Waymoth of Henderson, IL, Brad McCormick of Arkansas, and Connie (David) Brant of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his Parents and 2 Nephews. William served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday April 27, 2013 at the Walnut Grove Methodist Church with Pastor Lyren Haney officiating.
