Mrs. Walter Barrett Dies

ADAMS — Mrs. Jennie May Barrett, 76, wife of Walter B. Barrett, Adams, died at 7 this morning in the Hillcrest Nursing Home, where she had been a patient six months. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, Rev. Roger McNarin, pastor, of the Free Methodist Church, officiating

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Adams Center. friends may call at the funeral home Friday form 7 to 9 p.m.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Kenneth W. and William C, Adams, and Gerald J., Watertown; three daughters, Mrs. Philip (Norinne) David, Woodvllle, Mrs. James (Marjorie) Davidson, Rockville, Md., and Mrs. Harold (Betty) Grleco, Adams Center; a sister, Mrs. James (Edith) Roof, a patient in the Jefferson County Extended Care Facility, 28 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

She was born at Smithville Nov. 12, 1895, daughter of Frank and Elnora Elmer Silsby and attended Henderson Schools. She was married to Walter B. Barrett of Henderson Aug. 14,1914. The couple has spent most of their married life in the Adams-Henderson vicinity.
