William was born and raised on his family farm which was located on Weegee Creek just above Vallonia. After raising their children William and Lettetia relocated from Belmont, County to Milford Center taking jobs at the Ohio Reformatory for Women at Marrysville, Ohio. Lettetia was a cook at the reformatory and I believe William worked as a butcher. William and Lettetia secured their brother in-law Jacob "Roy" McMillen husband of Lettetia's sister Bessie Mae the laundry contract at reformatory. Roy had a dry cleaning business at Bellaire, Ohio prior to relocating to Milford Center. Ted Schroeder
