Flight Sergeant Melvin Samuel Kahn, R-133968, R.C.A.F., of Toronto was officially reported killed in action on February 19, 1943. He was buried at the Jewish Cemetery in Nottingham, England
Flight Sergeant Kahn enlisted in the air force in August 1941 and took his training at Toronto, Eglinton Hunt club, and Trenton. He received his wings at Fingal. He went overseas and took further courses in Scotland
