J. C. Embrey, 67, of Fulton, died at 4:55 a.m. Thursday, July 4, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
Mr. Embrey was a retired truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Jane Harper Embrey; his mother, Floy Daughtery Embrey of Clinton; five sons, Larry Embrey, Bruce Embrey, John Embrey, all of Water Valley, Steve Embrey of South Fulton, Tenn., and Mike Embrey of Paducah; one daughter, Mitzi Embrey of Paducah; one sister, Doris Hurd of Clinton; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joy Embrey.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton. The Rev. Tommy Grubbs officiated. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
