Rex Carver

Tommy Rex Carver, 54, of Lawrenceville, died Thursday, October 3, 2002. Mr. Carver was a bus driver with Gwinnett County Public Schools and worked in residential construction. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was of the Baptist denomination.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 5, in the chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, with Shirley Wells and Terry Canup officiating. Burial was in the Walnut Grove Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Carver is survived by his wife, Sheila Drummond Carver, Lawrenceville; his mother, Alpha Carver, Jefferson; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Louise Carver, Jefferson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Florine and Robert Christopher, Jefferson, Faye and Jack Gray, Winder, and Nettie and Ronald Canup, Hoschton; and several nieces and nephews.

Tim Stewart Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
