YODER - Services for Randy Wayne Gibbs, 17, resident of Rt. 1 Yoder, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 8, in the Torrington United Presbyterian Church.

The Rev. Burton Kugler will officiate with burial to follow in Valley View Cemetery in Torrington.

The youth died at West Nebraska General Hospital, Scottsbluff, Neb., on Saturday at 7 p.m. from injuries sustained in a one car accident east of Lyman, Neb.

Born April 16, 1965 near Mitchell, Neb., he was the son of H.A. (Pete) and Beverly Pomeroy Gibbs.

Raised and educated in the Yoder area, Randy would have been a senior in Southeast Goshen High School in September. He was a member of the South Goshen Presbyterian Church, 4-H Junior Leaders in Goshen county, the Huntley Porkers Club, and the Horseshoe Acres Club.

Besides his parents of Yoder, he is survived by two brothers, Harvey J. of Yoder, and Keith L. of Bill, Wyo., his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Pomeroy of Torrington, and numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and one aunt.

Memorials to the 4-H Foundation or the Yoder Rescue Unit would be equally appreciated by the family. Sutley Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
