Samantha "Sam" Rue Taylor was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on April 16, 1985 and joined all of the angels in heaven on April 19, 2013.

Sam's greatest love was to help others. She had an unbelievable gift of making others feel loved and appreciated. Throughout her life Sam made a tremendous impact of the lives of those she touched. She had a glow that illuminated and created laughter, love, and joy wherever she went.

A child at heart, Sam loved all of the children in her life. Some of her favorite times were spent taking her children and her nephews to the zoo, playing games, playing practical jokes, watching children's movies, going to the park, watching her children play, and just bringing a smile to their face.

Sam loved to laugh and spend time with her family. She was talented in so many areas. Cooking was one of her greatest loves and she took great pride in cooking delicious meals for the people in her life. She also had a great passion for music and loved to sing. She loved unconditionally and would do anything for anyone.

Sam is survived by her two beautiful children Taiya J. Taylor and Ian E. Lodge; her mother, Pamela J. Taylor of Idaho Falls; her three sisters, Shauna L. Taylor, of Idaho Falls, Stephanie J. Taylor, and Paula Wilha, of Big Lake, Texas; and her two nephews, Tristan and Elijah Jenks.

Sam was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Gladys Briggs and Larue B. Grover, her grandfather, John Leach, and her father, Edward Grant Taylor.

Sam's children were her entire world and she can now watch over, protect, and guide them from Heaven. The music of her life and the song it created will be played in the minds of all those that loved her for all of time.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with an opportunity to visit with family at 1:00 p.m at Wood Funeral Home located at 273 North Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

A donation account has been set up for Sam's children and the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made at any Westmark Credit Union in memory of Samantha Taylor.
