VARDAMAN – Jason Bradley Holder, 36, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. He was born March 31, 1977, in Houston to Johnny Holder and Cathy Shinall Blackwelder.
He is survived by his father, Johnny (Beverly) Holder of Vardaman; mother, Cathy (Larry) Blackwelder of Pittsboro; sister, Michelle (Keith) Gaskin of Pittsboro; stepbrother, Allan (Carla) Blackwelder of Bruce; grandparents, Cecil and Lurlene Holder of Derma and Charles and Maxine Shinall of Pittsboro; three nieces, Kayla, Emily and Haley Gaskin; and two nephews, Hayden McCostlin and Bryce Blackwelder.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Melba Jo Shinall; and two uncles, Timmy Holder and Charles Holder.
Services are at 2 p.m. today at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel in Calhoun City with the Rev. J.R. Eaton and the Rev. Michael Bishop. Burial is at Poplar Springs Cemetery in Vardaman.
Pallbearers are David Holder, Gene Holder, Neal Smith, James Gammill, Allan Blackwelder and Steve Shinall. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of North Mississippi Retardation Center.
