SPRINGTOWN - Billie Matthews, 77, a homemaker, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Chapel in Springtown. Burial: Springtown Cemetery in Springtown. Visitation: 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Billie Matthews was born May 23, 1923, in Cleburne. She had been a Springtown resident for the last five years. She was employed at Bogart Sports Wear in Fort Worth in the 1950's. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, James Chandler and Kenneth Vaughan "Spunky" Chandler.
