They had 3 children; Douglas (Randy), Kimberly,and Gregory.

It is with deep sorrow that Eleanor's family announces her passing on Sunday May 8th, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Eleanor died, peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family and friends. Eleanor was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother who lived a full and beautiful life. She is survived by her Mother Marion, husband Howard, Sons Randy and Greg, daughter Kim, brothers Terry, Herb, Dennis, Francis, Norman and Greg, Sister Janet and grandchildren Mathew, Nicole, Gabriel, Brenna and Jamie. She was predeceased by her Father Henry and brothers Don, Ken and Gordon. Eleanor loved life, travel and walks in the community forest with her friends. A kindred spirit, a wonderful attitude and a positive outlook on life, Eleanor will be deeply missed.
