The Funeral Held Tomorrow
Well Known German Citizen Died Yesterday
Frank Rill Dies at Vine Street Home Aged 79 years - Funeral Will be Held Here Tomorrow Morning
Frank Rill, an old and highly respected German resident of this city, died at Home 414 Vine Street, yesterday afternoon at 4:15 at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 23 days after an extended illness of Bright's disease and dropsy.
The deceased was born in the province of Bavaria, Germany and at the age of three years, he with his parents came to America and settled at Millstadt, St Clair County. On January 13, 1851, he was united in marriage to Miss Theresa Schiele. To this union eleven children were born, five of whom are still living.
About twelve years ago the aged couple moved to this city where they have lived a retired life ever since.
Besides the aged widow, three daughters and two sons survive him. The children are, Miss Catherine Rill, living at Home, Mrs Philip Bellm, North Litchfield, Aloys Rill, South Litchfield, Charles Rill, Hillsboro and Mrs Charles Bellm, of Carlinville. Besides the children. twenty grandchildren survive him.
The funeral will be held at nine o'clock Saturday morning from St Aloysius Church. Internment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mosbach - On the third day of May 1830, Francis was born at one hour past noon and was baptized on the following day. He is the legitimate son of Joseph Riel, resident and iron smith in this place, and Susanna born Petry. The child was held by Francis and Leonard Petry relatives of the Mother and residents of this place.
