Brent Williams, of Cockeysville, MD, formerly of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care April 18, 2013.

Born November 2, 1978, in Hanover, he was the son of Tom and Linda Williams of Hanover.

Brent was a 1997 graduate of South Western High School, where he had been a member of the football team as well as the track and field team, holding the school's pole vault record for many years. In 2002, he received a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Shippensburg University.

After graduation, he became a counselor at Bowling Brook Prep School in Keymar, MD. Upon the closing of that school, he was a restaurant manager at Bill Bateman's of Hanover and Shrewsbury, Applebee's of Westminster, MD, and then finally Texas Roadhouse of Westminster.

In addition to being an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Brent loved to play golf with his dad and spend time with his two Labradors, Montego and Trouble.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Julie Williams of Lancaster; maternal grandmother, Mary Spalding of Biglerville; paternal grandparents, Rab and Peg Williams of Hanover; and his soulmate, Rachel Hardesty of Cockeysville.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fred Spalding.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., April 26, 2013, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Hanover. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. the 25th at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., Hanover.
