The funeral for Steve Devon Green, 86,of Ardmore, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Spry Funeral Home with George Whitten officiating. Burial will be in the Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Green died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the Valley View Nursing Home in Madison, AL.
Steve Green was born June 25, 1926, in Limestone County. He was a retired painter and a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Mr. Green was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bette Green; and a daughter, Pat Walters.
Survivors include sons, Tim Green of Lewisburg, TN, and Jimmy Green of Harvest; daughter, Frances Christopher of Athens; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
