Miss Martha Dean, 75, inmate of the Old Ladies' Home at 1419 Jordan street since 1905, died at that institution Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. Funeral services will be held from the home Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock with the Rev. Claude L. Jones, evangelist, officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood cemetery, under direction of the Roll Osborn and Sons funeral home.
The deceased was born in Atlanta, Winn Parish, Louisiana. She had been a resident of Shreveport 26 years. She was a member of the Central Christian church. As far is known, there are no surviving relatives.
