==========================================

She married William Povall "Hi" Martin, son of William Pitt Martin & Corrie Povall Martin. They did not have any children, but Aunt Carrie & Uncle Hi LOVED children. She and Uncle Hi first lived in Port Arthur, Texas after their marriage and relocated to the Dallas area. When Uncle Hi passed away, she resided with her sister and brother-in-law, Tom & Vadah Elizabeth Brown Brumett in Euless, Tarrant, Texas, USA.

In the 1970s, she enjoyed working at "Mr. Marshburn's" florist in Dallas, Dallas, Texas, USA.

Aunt Carrie went to be with The Lord January 26, 1997 while living in a nursing home in Irving, Dallas, Texas.

My Aunt Carrie was a wonderful, giving, caring woman...and, SO MUCH FUN! In her early 70s, she purchased a Duster coupe with mag wheels. She was the coolest Aunt, EVER!

She is sorely missed in our families and at our gatherings, but not in our hearts.

WE LOVE YOU, AUNT CARRIE! You will always be in our hearts!!

Rest In Peace.
