Benson, Feb.13 – Mrs. Lucy Mathews Hesser, 71, died at her home here Monday. She was born at Stillwater, Okla., and has been a resident of Benson since 1948. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Dr. O. Ferris Scott and the Rev. David Martin will officiate. Mrs. Hesser's body will be sent to Stillwater by Bring's Funeral Home for services and burial. Survivors include three sons, Dr. James M. Hesser of St. David, William A. Hesser of Locust Grove, Okla., and Woodrow C. Hesser of Benson; a sister, Mrs. Mamie Hesser of Stillwater, and a brother Charles Young of Pasadena, Calif. There are six grandchildren.
