William "Bill" Cassarly, 84, Hollidaysburg, died Thursday.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late George and Maxine (Gardener) Cassarly. He married Naomi Biddle, and she died June 7, 1994.
Surviving are a daughter, Amy; a granddaughter, Haley; and a sister, Virginia Rabits.
He was preceded in death by five siblings: George, Mary Lou Almond, Phyllis Martin, Sally Craig and Patricia Dodson.
Bill served in the U.S. Navy from 1946-48, and he had been employed with the Altoona Housing Authority.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, by the Rev. Wayne Ayer.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
