Simon William Stuckey was the son of Daniel Benson Stuckey Sr. and Sarah Moore.

Simon married Catherine Adcock, September 12, 1865.

Simon and Catherine had the following known children:

1. Sarah Jane Stuckey (1866)

2. Emma Stuckey (1868)

Military Service:
Simon was a Confederate Soldier in the "3rd Louisiana Infantry"

A bounty offered by the Confederate government of $50 had a response of a company of cavalry and was formed in Carroll Co., Mississippi, by Captain A.J. Lott who was on detached duty from the Carroll Rebels. Known as the Carroll Dragoons, they were inducted in service of the Confederacy on March 19, 1862.

Carroll Dragoons Louisiana Cavalry Independent Company.

Alternate name: "Captain Lott's Company"
