Glenda Hood, 77 of Cape Girardeau, died July 3, 1997 at Jackson Manor in Jackson, MO. She was born August 22, 1919 at Zalma, MO, daughter of Earnest and Hettie V. (Berrong) Randolph.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the General Baptist faith.
She was first married to Joseph Sampson Conder.
She later married Robert H. Hood; he survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Marion Thomas Conder of Clubb, MO; Benny Joe Conder of Gipsy, MO; and Trennis Lee Conder of Gipsy, MO; one daughter, Evelyn Marie Conder of Cape Girardeau, MO; three brothers, Norman Schrader of High Ridge, MO; James E. Schrader of Jackson, MO; and Leeman Schrader of Painton, MO; one grandson; six step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral service was held July 5 at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, with burial in Berrong Cemetery near Zalma, MO.
