She was born Sept. 23, 1933, at Kirksville, Mo., to Loren Wesley and Helen Irene Craig.
On Oct. 27, 1950, she married William Z. Black in Pampa, Texas. She later re-married, to Paul Tasset on Oct. 27, 1963, in Pampa. He preceded her in death in 1996.
A longtime area resident, Mrs. Tasset moved to Bethel Home in 2005.
She is survived by four sons, David Black of Chaparral, N.M., John Black of Aurora, Colo., Stephan Black of Portland and Robert Tasset of Dodge City; one daughter, Laura Koehn of Sublette; one step-daughter, Verla O'Keefe of Baton Rouge, La.; one sister, Nancy Box of Grand Saline, Texas; two brothers, John Craig of Naples, Fla., and Larry Craig of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one step-daughter, Cheryl Peterson.
Graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Windthorst at 11 a.m. Monday.
There will be no public visitation.
