Jennie M. Delsigne passed away peacefully in Yuma, Arizona on April 4th, 2013 to be with her Lord and Savior. Jennie Mary Beratto was born on January 24th, 1917 to Stephen and Minnie Beratto in Lehigh, Oklahoma. She graduated from Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, Ca. She married her husband John on Nov. 16th, 1935. Together they raised three children. Jennie and her husband retired to Yuma, AZ in 1976.

During high school, Jennie enjoyed playing softball and volleyball. In later years, she enjoyed watching a variety of sports her favorite being baseball. She worked in the Mojave Unified School District in Mojave, CA as a cafeteria cashier and library clerk. She also worked part-time for the Mojave Public Utility District. She volunteered for many years in PTO, Salvation Army, Rainbow Girls, Gila Mountain United Methodist Church and was a 70+ yr. member of the Order of Eastern Star. Jennie was an avid reader, loved to crochet, play the piano and organ and sing in the church choir.

Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, John Delsigne; parents, Stephen and Minnie Beratto; sister, Evelyn Beratto; daugher in law, Marjorie Delsigne.

Our beautiful Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother is survived by sons, John Delsigne and James Delsigne; her daughter, Joanne (Delsigne) Bunn, ;daughter-in-law, Barbara Delsigne; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Irene Hampton and Gloria Swanson; brother-in-law, Melvin Swanson; 4 nieces and 5 nephews.

Her family wishes to thank each and everyone who supported them and her in prayer, gifts, cards, thoughts and visits. In lieu of flowers, it was her wish for donations to be made to Gila Mtn. United Methodist Church or Hospice.

Graveside services will be held in Mojave, CA at the East Kern Cemetery on April 20th, 2013 at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will be held for Jennie at Gila Mountain United Methodist Church on Saturday May 4, 2013 at 10:00 am, located at 12716 N. Frontage Rd., Yuma, AZ.
