On April 14, 2013, our loving Lord took Jimmie Ray Ott home to heaven. Jimmie loved the Lord. He was born January 21, 1942 in Sanger, Ca. to Basil and Gertha Ott. Jimmie graduated From Mojave High School in 1959 and married Sherry Balentine in 1964. He was drafted into the Armed Services in 1964 and served in Vietnam until 1966. Jimmie worked for Standard Oil, Cal Portland Cement and the Mojave Unified School District as a school bus driver before retiring in 2004. Our beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, uncle and friend will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Jimmie is survived by his wife of 49 years Sherry Ott of Mojave, his three children, Jeffrey Ott (AZ), Robbie Ott (CO), Heidi Anderson (CA), his Mother Gertha Ott in Mojave, a brother Don Ott (CA), sister Wynona Abber (WA), and sister Anita Phillips of Mojave and also Seven Grandchildren.

Services are pending, Jimmie Ott will be interred at Bakersfield National Cemetary in Arvian, CA.
