Mrs. Sarah A. Stanley, age 82, of Opelika, was born on August 26, 1930 in Elmore County, Alabama, and passed away on April 19, 2013 in Opelika.

Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her husband, W. D. Stanley; her parents Leola and Milton Brown; and a son Kenny Stanley.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Julie) Stanley, Barbara (David) Waldrop, Lee (Robbie) Redding; her sisters, Betty (Cecil) Bell, and Ella Fisher; a daughter-in-law, Donna Stanley; grandchildren, Gene Stanley, Brandon Stanley, Kenneth Ingram, Collin Stanley, William Stanley, Cora (Richard) Lopez, Angela Brown, Randi (David) Hurley, Angi (Bradd) Rhymes, Tami Waldrop, Brent Beasley, Heath Beasley, Christy Redding, Ashley Redding; great grandchildren, Zachary Stanley, Rhylynn Lopez, Brady Hurley, Katelynn Hurley, Hannah Hurley, Mason Carter, and Dylan Carter.

Visitation will be held on April 21, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Parlor.

Funeral Service will be held on April 22, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Central Baptist Church of Opelika, with Rev. Ross Kilpatrick officiating. Interment will follow at Notasulga Memory Gardens.
