Jack was a 1977 graduate of Wheaton High School. In 1980, he became an ordained minister for the Pentecostal Church of God and had served as Sectional Youth Leader for many years. He also served on the Southern Missouri District Board. He pastored in Missouri and Arkansas before starting Blessing Heights Worship Center in 1993. Jack had a passion for singing and writing songs. He had two songs on the Southern Gospel Times 2012 Top 40 Chart. He had a heart for kids and enjoyed laughing and playing with his grandchildren. He had a love for people and enjoyed being a pastor for 33 years. He enjoyed fishing, golf, farming and Cardinals baseball.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Martha Freeman; one sister, Deborah Martinez; one brother, Charles Kenneth Freeman and grandparents.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, in the Family Life Center at Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastors Charles Cross, Dale Merideth and Jimmie Copley conducted the services.

Contributions may be made to Blessing Heights Worship Center in memory of Jack.
