Miss Bonnie Boyd, 75, of Belton, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013. Funeral services for will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at the North Belton Cemetery in Belton with Rev. David Alwine officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Bonnie was born in Pendleton, Texas, to the late Harvey and LaVerne Boyd. She was a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, earning a Bachelors of Arts in history and art. Bonnie received a Master's degree in counseling psychology from Texas A & M Central Texas. She worked for many years as a licensed professional counselor at MHMR in Killeen. Bonnie was a member of the Iris Society in Belton and enjoyed quilting.

Survivors include her daughter, Celeste Hogan, of Rogers; grandchildren, Melody Dingus Parker, Gerald Dingus, and Robert Hogan; great-grandchildren, Dwyn Parker, Helena Parker and Llyr Parker; brothers, Eugene Boyd, of Boerne and Frank Boyd, of North Dakota; sister, Mindy Boyd Baker, of Belton; other relatives and many friends.
