George was a 1965 graduate of Mullins High School and a member of multiple sports teams. He attended the Citadel and was later employed with the Medical University of South Carolina. Upon his return to Mullins, he enjoyed playing golf. With his quiet soul and big heart, he was an angel to many.
George is survived by two daughters, Ragan Ansley Graves and Elizabeth Altman Graves; a brother, Berkeley Stokes Graves (Susan) of Myrtle Beach and a nephew, Berkeley Ross Graves (Jessica) of Charlotte, N.C.
A service to celebrate George's life will be held at a later date.
