Bonnie was born Oct. 2, 1926, in Honey Grove, Texas, the daughter of Gaylon and Virgie (Malone) Adamson.
Bonnie married her first husband, Marland Johnson, in 1944 and they would move to Santa Paulo, Calif., in 1952 until 1992 when they moved to Shawnee.
Bonnie loved to cook and was known for keeping her house spotless, as well as enjoying the time she spent with her family and friends. Bonnie will be missed by all who knew her.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Marland Johnson, her second husband Walter Griffin and three sisters Audie, Annie, And Josie.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons Michael Johnson of Cleveland and Steven Johnson of Sand Springs, seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation for Bonnie will be Sunday April 21, at the Resthaven Funeral Home in Shawnee. Graveside services will be at noon, Monday, April 22, at the Philadelphia Cemetery in Gober, Texas.
