Christopher L. McCord, 55, of Midland, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at home.
Born October 11, 1957, in Sewickley, a son of Dorothy Winans McCord, Hopewell Twp., and the late Elmer McCord, he was a member of the Valley Christian Fellowship Church and was a life member of the N.R.A.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Cole Gunter; a granddaughter, Kaitlynn, all of Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Elaine McCord, Georgetown; two sisters, Debbie Welling, Economy, and Jill McCord, Hopewell Twp., and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held today at 11 a.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, with Rev. Patti Elliott officiating.
Interment will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.
