Max Ray Langley, 79, Aurora, Missouri was born August 8, 1933 in Hurley, Missouri to William Dutton and Irene Springer Langley and departed this life Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in Cox Branson, Branson Missouri.

Max had served in the United State Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars, he retired from the Air Force after 21 years obtaining the rank Master Sergeant. After returning to Missouri, Max studied computers at Dury College and had become an Over-the-Road truck driver for which he drove for over 20 years.

On October 4, 1952 Max was united in marriage to Charlene Andrus Langley and she survives in the home; other survivors include; three sons, Ben of Aurora, Michael and wife Kelly of Marionville, Missouri and Sean of Republic; two brothers, Carl Langley and wife Maxine of Berryville, Arkansas and Kay Langley and wife Ima Mae of Hurley; three grandchildren, Makala, Adam and Gaylene, other relative and friends.

Max was preceded in death by his parents and four sons, Brian, Kevin, Gene and Dean.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Westrip Funeral Home, Crane, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00 till service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Short Cemetery, Hurley under the care of Westrip Funeral Home. Published in the News-Leader on April 19, 2013.
