Tillie Bailey Nixon, age 75, passed away April 13, 2013 in St. George, Utah. Born May 22, 1937, in Gilmer, Upshur County, Texas, she married Elray S. Nixon on January 11, 1957 in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. An active member of the LDS church, she served in many positions of service. She loved and enjoyed her children and grandchildren and devoted her life to her family. She is survived by her husband, Elray S. Nixon; daughters- Jane Ellen (Lloyd) Krutsinger, Suzanne (Brian) Anderson, Jennifer Nixon; son- Jared Spencer Nixon; grandchildren- Dorothy Jane (Tomas) Martinez, Elizabeth Ann (David) Brooks, Victoria Ellen Krutsinger, Jason Kent Anderson, Aric S. Anderson, Weston Brian Anderson; sister- Judy Gail Skinner Sanders;
nephews- William Allen Nunn, Matthew Scott (Heidi) Sanders; niece- Angela Marie (Timothy) Seib; and great grandchild- Samantha Lei Brooks.
A graveside service will be held April 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Escalante Cemetery in Escalante, Utah.
