Jacob Calvin Huett, 84, of Morrilton, died Tuesda August 9. He was born at Springfield September 9, 1892, the son of the late David Wesley and Luella Allgood. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sreathie Gordon-Huett of Morrilton; one daughter, Mrs. Mable Huckaby of England; one foster son, Jessie Conard of Blue Springs MO; one sister Mrs. Iva Williams of Springfield; one brother, Jim Walter Huett of Springfield; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Thursday, August 11, at Calvary Baptist Church by Rev. Jerry Jolly. Burial was at Kilgore Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jim Hayes-Huett, Blue Huett, Mike Huett, Louis Huett, Delmus Lierley, J.O. Tipps, Everett Huett and Mike Sinkey. Our community was saddened Tuesday by the death of J.C. Huett who passed away after a lengthy illness. To his family we extend our sympathy. He was born in this community and lived most of his life here.
