William Allen Hunter, 68, died at 5:15 AM Friday morning at his home near Emlenton after a long illness. He was born January 26, 1866 near Emlenton, a son of Mary Parker and Armstrong O. Hunter, and spent his entire life in that area. He was a member of the Scrubgrass Presbyterian Stone Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Hattie Hunter; one son, Hilton H. Hunter of Clintonville and one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Kohlmeyer, Eau Claire. Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 2:00 PM Monday afternoon with the Reverend Laughner, pastor of the Scrubgrass Presbyterian Stone Church, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
