Bonnie Sue Scott, 78, of Macomb, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was born January 4, 1935 to Herbert and Cora Lee (Haslip) Thompson in Dale, Oklahoma.

Bonnie was raised in Dale and attended Dale Public Schools. She was a 1953 graduate of Dale High School.

She married Wesley Leo Scott on May 8, 1953 in Dale, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2012.

Following her marriage to Leo they moved to the Romulus/Macomb area where they raised their family and she has lived since.

Bonnie was a homemaker her entire life and loved taking care of her family and home.

She was a longtime member of the Romulus Baptist Church. Bonnie loved cooking, baking and making desserts for her family. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her husband of 59 years, Leo.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Scott; parents; 2 brothers, George Thompson and Ernest Thompson.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Nick Neitzke, of Edmond, OK; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Sandy Scott, of Stillwater, OK and Randy and Debbie Scott, of Norman, OK; 4 granddaughters, Erin and Justin Gerry, of Edmond, OK, Natalie and Chad Trease, of Norman, OK, Audrey Scott and Shelby Scott, both of Stillwater, OK; 5 grandsons, Ryan and Pholile Scott, of Irving, TX, Jeffrey Scott, of Ft. Worth, TX, Wesley Scott, of Norman, OK, Brad and Laney Scott, of Coppell, TX and Travis Norman, of Norman, OK; 3 great-grandchildren, Ellie Trease, Tucker Trease and Lovie Trease, of Norman, OK; sister, Mary Self, of Ft. Worth, TX; sister-in-law, Virginia Stover, of Tecumseh; and numerous extended family and friends.
