Lois was born in San Francisco on July 8, 1922. She leaves her beloved husband of 67 years, Elmo Giovannetti Sr. Lois was a member of the pioneer family of Santa Barbra, The De La Guerra family. Lois participated in the dedication ceremony of Coit Tower in 1933, representing her grandfather, Charles Cullen Sr. who was a captain in the San Francisco Fire Department in the 1906 Earthquake.
Her parents, Thelma Ramona and Charles Cullen Jr., her son Charles Giovannetti and her sister Dorothy Hendrickson preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Carol Vergano, son Elmo Giovannetti Jr. (Kim), son William Giovannetti Sr. (Lynne), and four grandchildren, Anthony, Christina, Jennifer O'Leary (James) and William Giovannetti Jr.
Lois grew up in San Francisco CA. She graduated from Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco CA. She spent the last 27 years in Concord CA.
At the request of the family there will not be a ceremony. Internment will be private. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
