June Lenore Harvey, age 89, of Tecumseh, passed away April 13, 2013,after a short illness and a prolonged battle with the effects of Alzheimers. June was born May 6, 1923 in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of William David and Caroline (Brinkmann) Thomas. She taught school for the State of Michigan Corrections Department and also was a long time receptionist at United Savings Bank in Tecumseh.
June is survived by a daughter and a son; seven gandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Timothy Harvey, aka Bryden Lam; brother, Donald Thomas and sister, Evelyn Thomas Craven.
Visitation for family and friends was followed by burial in Ridgeway Cemetery, Ridgeway, Mich.
