AMHERST-Mrs. Katherine Reis, 82, of 524 Elyria avenue, died at 9 a.m. today at her home.
Born in Germany she came to Amherst at the age of six months and had resided here since that time. She was a member of St. Peters's Evangelical and Reformed church.
Surviving are her two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Plato of Amherst, Mrs. Anna C. Hecke, Lorain; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Sophia Bauer and Mrs. Mary Pippert of Amherst.
The body is at the Zilch Funeral Home where friends may call and where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be made in Crownhill cemetery.
